- Perspectives of HCI as a research area.
- Different views of the user.
- Relationships between research, development and design processes.
- Interdisciplinary co-operation.
- Task analysis.
- Overview of empirical methods.
- Collecting, analysing and interpreting interview and survey data.
- Ethnography and computer technology.
- Developing and defending a research proposal in HCI.
