Prerequisites Knowledge corresponding to a basic course in Human-Computer Interactionis desirable. Previous background in cognitive psychology and linguisticsis an advantage.

  1. Research traditions in the study of writing.
  2. Cognitive models of the writing process.
  3. Observation methods.
  4. The impact of computers on the writing process.
  5. Cognitive-based computer writing environments.
  6. Design issues in computer support for planning, reviewing and proofreading.
  7. Interactive reading environments.
  8. Models for collaborative writing.
Literature

A collection of articles will be distributed. In addition, the participants are expected to search for and distribute certain within their special area.
Examination Active participation in seminars and lectures. A written summary of certainliterature. Obligatory exercises and a completed individual assignment.
